NVIDIA Rubin Commences Mass Production Deliveries: First Batch of Devices Arrives for Microsoft

Dynamic Beating AI News Flash: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared an on-site photo of a data center, revealing that Microsoft's first mass-produced version of the NVIDIA Vera Rubin has arrived. NVIDIA later confirmed that the Vera Rubin is now entering full-scale production.

Vera Rubin is the next-generation rack-scale AI computing platform following Blackwell. It features an NVL72 set-up integrating 72 Rubin GPUs and 36 Vera CPUs. NVIDIA stated that compared to the GB200 NVL72, it can reduce the inference cost per million tokens to about one-tenth and the number of GPUs required to train MoE models to one-fourth.
