Monad Foundation: Seeks to Conduct Discounted Buyback to Early Investors to Unlock MON, With Little Participation

BlockBeats News, August 18th. According to official sources, the Monad Foundation recently announced the completion of a liquidity program. In this program, the foundation proposed to some early Monad investors to purchase their locked MON tokens at a discounted price reflecting a four-year lockup period. Any MON tokens purchased by the foundation through this liquidity program will still be subject to the same lockup period. The total purchase amount limit for this program is $60 million.

The program aims to provide an orderly liquidity exit channel for early investors whose liquidity needs or investment objectives have changed, while supporting long-term alignment of interests among remaining token holders.

Almost all contacted token holders chose not to participate in the program, and the program has now concluded.

The Monad Foundation has never sold, offered to sell, or sought to sell any MON tokens through OTC trades or other means, and there is currently no process for such sales. Any claims to the contrary are false.
