Trump: U.S. Not Seeking Extension of Memorandum of Understanding with Iran

BlockBeats News, August 18th, President Trump of the United States stated that the U.S. is currently not seeking to extend the memorandum of understanding with Iran.

Trump said that Iran is looking to make a deal but will not accept what he considers to be a "necessary" deal. Trump once again proposed the idea of declaring the Strait of Hormuz as U.S. territory and reiterated U.S. control over the strait.

He also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz is currently remaining open, and oil prices are trending downwards.
