BlockBeats News, August 17th, BitMart founder Sheldon stated that in response to a public accountability statement previously made by BitMart employees through the official Twitter account, the company has completed the evidence collection related to the content and stated that the said content is all false information. Sheldon mentioned that they will report to the authorities during the day in the U.S. and will send a legal letter to Platform X requesting technical and data evidence related to the content.
Sheldon also mentioned that employee assets are not prioritized over customer assets, as everyone is considered a customer, and there is no special privilege. Previously, BitMart employees had publicly questioned the destination of platform assets and the related handling.
Sheldon had previously stated that a response regarding the platform's asset destination would be provided by the 19th.
