Netflix: FTX-Related Series 'The Altruists' to Premiere on November 19th

BlockBeats News, August 14, Netflix announced that the series "The Altruists," inspired by the rise and fall of FTX founder SBF and former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison, will premiere on November 19 and released the first look images.

The series consists of 8 episodes, with Anthony Boyle playing SBF and Julia Garner playing Caroline Ellison. Netflix described the series as a story of two young idealists attempting to rapidly reshape the global financial system, only to be accused of stealing $8 billion and ultimately falling from grace in the financial power world.

The Altruists was created by Graham Moore, inspired by articles from New York Magazine journalists Kevin T. Dugan and Jen Wieczner. Barack Obama and Michelle Obama also serve as executive producers of the series.
