BlockBeats News, August 13, hardware wallet Trezor disclosed that its logistics partner ShipMonk suffered a data breach, resulting in the exposure of personal data of 13,689 Trezor customers. Among them, the full names, phone numbers, emails, and shipping addresses of 11,742 individuals were stolen, while the names, cities, and emails of 1,947 people were leaked. The affected customers placed orders between May 10 and August 8, with shipping addresses including the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal. Trezor emphasized that its own system was not compromised, and the devices, private keys, and wallet backups were unaffected. The extent of the breach is currently under control.

Trezor warned the affected customers to beware of phishing attacks, never to enter wallet recovery seeds or backups online, and to remain suspicious of any unexpected contact.
