Gemini 3.7 Flash Launched Today: Price Could Halve, 3.5 Pro Skipped

According to TrendForce's Beating Monitor, whistleblower blogger leo claimed that Google is set to launch Gemini 3.7 Flash today. The API price may drop to $0.75 per million Token input and $3.75 per million Token output. Currently, the standard price for Gemini 3.6 Flash is $1.50 and $7.50 respectively. If the new price is true, it would be a direct 50% cut.

Gemini 3.7 Flash did not come out of thin air. Google's official Python GenAI SDK had previously included `gemini-3.7-flash` before renaming the related PR to "internal" and closing it. As a result, the community had long speculated that the new model was nearing release.

Even more intriguing is Gemini 3.5 Pro. SemiAnalysis claimed last week that Google had internally scrapped this flagship model and the team was pivoting to the larger-scale Gemini 4. leo also claimed to have heard the same news.
