Bitwise CIO: Bitcoin Price Showing "Resilience" in the Face of Multiple Recent Bearish Factors, Signaling a Potential Bottom

BlockBeats News, August 13th, Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan said in a Bloomberg interview that Bitcoin may have hit the bottom of the bear market as negative news such as the recent Coldcard wallet hack, Strategy company's Bitcoin sale, and the stalled progress of the CLARITY Act did not cause a significant price drop.

Hougan believes that the market's dismissal of bad news is a signal of the end of the bear market, and he expects institutional inflows, such as wealth management platforms approving crypto ETFs, to be the next stage's catalyst for an upward trend.

For long-term investors, debating this issue is not of great significance.
The cryptocurrency market has experienced intense volatility, with Bitcoin dropping 7% in a single day and trading volume significantly reducing. The Fear and Greed Index has entered the "Fear" zone, and a key technical support level is facing a test. The market is entering a consolidation phase, and investors need to be vigilant against short-term fluctuations and long-term risks.
