Cathie Wood: Bitcoin and Stablecoins Could Emerge as the Two Biggest Beneficiaries of the Intelligent Agent Commercial Transformation

BlockBeats News, August 9th - Cathie Wood, also known as "WoodShion" in China, believes that although the latest jobs report may seem concerning on the surface, the actual situation is not as bad as it seems. She thinks the key point to focus on is the economic transformation behind the employment data. Currently, the U.S. fiscal deficit stands at 5.6% of GDP, a level she believes is similar to the early days of Reaganomics in the 1980s. If productivity and technological adoption continue to accelerate as expected by ARK, this ratio could approach 5% by the end of the year. The future’s bigger risk might not be inflation but deflation, especially for companies that fail to adopt AI and productivity tools.

On the oil front, an oversupply is forming as the UAE, having exited OPEC in May, has reached a historical high in production. Cathie Wood anticipates a significant oil price drop and sees it as a deflationary force driving most parts of the world. Meanwhile, capital expenditure has surpassed the range of the past 30 years. She believes that the market's concerns about an AI bubble are exaggerated and that we are still in the early stages of a technological revolution.

Regarding cryptocurrency, Cathie Wood stated that Bitcoin's performance relative to gold is stabilizing again. She believes that Bitcoin and stablecoins could be the two main beneficiaries of the smart contract business transformation.
