According to Perceive Beating monitoring, the open-source model switching tool CC Switch has released v3.19.1, supporting the native Responses API of DeepSeek-V4-Flash. Users can input their DeepSeek API Key to directly invoke this model in Codex.
The old version can also integrate with DeepSeek, but it requires enabling local routing in CC Switch to convert Codex requests into a different interface format. The new version directly connects to the DeepSeek official API, eliminating the need for a backend proxy during usage.
Currently, only V4-Flash supports this direct connection method. V4-Pro still needs to use the old routing, with DeepSeek expected to add the Responses API for it in early August.
