BlockBeats News, August 1st - Industry sources revealed that ChangXin Memory's LPDDR6 (the sixth generation low-power double data rate memory standard) is nearing the end of its R&D validation, marking a crucial step before mass production. Market news back in March this year indicated that ChangXin Memory, a subsidiary of ChangXin Technology, was actively advancing its LPDDR6 product development, had already sent samples to key clients, and is expected to be launched in the second half of 2026 for mass production.
According to related information, the design specification speed of ChangXin's first LPDDR6 product is 12800 Mbps, with a base speed of 10667 Mbps in synergy with the SoC (System-on-Chip). The chip has a capacity of 16Gb, uses a POP (Package-on-Package) package with 1295 balls, and features significant optimizations in low-power design and RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) functions compared to LPDDR5X (an enhanced version of LPDDR5) products.
