Tsai Haoyu's AI Startup Journey: Companion Product Shut Down, Transition to Independent Agent Developer

According to DynoMatic Beating's monitoring, Cai Haoyu, co-founder of miHoYo, updated his LinkedIn profile indicating that his tenure at the AI company Anuttacon will end in July this year. His new title will be "Independent Large Model and Agent Developer," and he will continue to work in Singapore.

Simultaneously, Anuttacon's AI companion product, AnuNeko, has been permanently shut down. The team mentioned that due to limited scale, they need to reallocate resources to other areas.

Earlier reports by the media indicated that Anuttacon has downsized its audio and video team, disbanded its North America large model team, and shifted its R&D focus to domestic large models and agents. Several key researchers have also joined OpenAI, Microsoft AI, and Tongyi Labs.

However, Anuttacon has not announced its closure yet, and its official website, career page, and AI game "Whispers from the Star" are still operational.
