According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, the Dark Side of the Moon (Kimi) has been renamed to "Beijing Dark Side of the Moon Technology Co., Ltd.", changing its enterprise type from a limited liability company to a non-listed joint stock limited company. Yang Zhilin has been appointed as the Chairman and General Manager, Zhang Yutong has been added as a director, and Song Sijia has been added as the Chief Financial Officer.
This change is commonly referred to as "equity reform." The China Securities Regulatory Commission stipulates that if a domestic enterprise directly lists overseas with a domestic entity, the issuer must be a joint stock limited company.
Previously, Bloomberg reported that the Dark Side of the Moon has issued a shareholder resolution to list in Hong Kong, with a potential IPO as early as six months, and has started to dismantle its Variable Interest Entity (VIE) structure. The company has not yet formally announced the listing date.
