Microsoft's Q4 Revenue of $90 billion Beats Market Expectations, Stock Price Rises 8.5% in After-Hours Trading

BlockBeats News, July 30th, Microsoft (MSFT.O) reported a revenue of $900 billion for the Q4 of FY2026, compared to $76.441 billion in the same period last year, and above the market expectation of $876.3 billion.


Capital expenditure for Q4 reached $41 billion, with cloud revenue for the quarter at $593 billion. The Q4 revenue of AZURE and other cloud services, excluding the exchange rate impact, increased by 43%, surpassing estimates. Q4 free cash flow was $19.6 billion, a 23% decline.


Microsoft's CEO Nadella stated, "Azure revenue crossed $100 billion for the first time, and Microsoft 365 Copilot paid seats exceeded 30 million, reflecting customer confidence in our ability to drive their AI transformation." Microsoft's Azure cloud business achieved revenue of $39.3 billion in Q4, with a growth rate of 43%, surpassing the expected 40% growth.


At the time of this post, Microsoft's stock surged by 8.5% in after-hours trading, raising its market value to $2.90 trillion.
