DeepSeek V4 Official Release Likely Delayed Until August, or Could Coincide with the Concentrated Launch of the Next-Generation Model

According to Dynabench monitoring, the official release of DeepSeek V4 (V4 GA) may be delayed until mid-August.

A netizen revealed that DeepSeek is about to conduct a closed beta test for its in-house Harness tool and plans to select testers from survey participants. After the closed beta test, V4 is expected to be open to the public in about 1 to 2 weeks, with a possible release date between August 10 and 20.

If the information is accurate, DeepSeek V4 may face tougher competition upon its launch. By then, next-generation models such as GPT-6, Claude Fable 5.1, and GLM-5.5 may have already entered the market.
