BlockBeats News, July 26th, according to a report by Al Arabiya and Saudi media Al Hadath, Iran has informed Pakistani officials that it has not withdrawn from the negotiations but has rather temporarily suspended them. Iran has reiterated the necessity to resume the negotiations at this impasse and has stated its refusal to open a new maritime route in the Strait of Hormuz.

In addition, Iran has confirmed to Pakistan its willingness to continue talks (with the United States) in Geneva, Qatar, or Islamabad and has requested the resumption of negotiations on the Hormuz issue, followed by the frozen funds issue, and finally the nuclear issue.
