Coinbase Bitcoin Premium has been negative for 67 days straight, with US market buying power remaining weak

BlockBeats News, July 25th, according to Coinglass data, Coinbase's Bitcoin Premium Index has remained in a negative premium range for 67 consecutive days (since May 19), with the latest value being -0.0708%.

Prior to this, the index was in a negative premium range for 40 consecutive days from January 16 to February 24 this year, setting the longest "continuous negative" record since the introduction of the index, exceeding the number of days of continuous negative premium during the "3/11 crash," which was about 30 days.

The Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index is used to measure the difference between the Bitcoin price on Coinbase and the global market average price. A negative premium usually reflects a larger selling pressure in the U.S. market, a decrease in investor risk appetite, a rise in market risk aversion, or capital outflows.
