Robinhood is in talks with Crypto.com to further expand its footprint in the prediction market business.

BlockBeats News, July 25th, according to WSJ, Robinhood is in talks with the cryptocurrency exchange platform Crypto.com to further expand its prediction market business.

Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the two parties plan to integrate Crypto.com's prediction market business into the Robinhood platform, allowing users to directly participate in Crypto.com's "yes/no" prediction contracts through the Robinhood trading interface.

Currently, Robinhood relies mainly on partners like Kalshi to provide prediction market contracts, but as both businesses expand, the partnership is gradually shifting towards competition.

Since last year, Robinhood has been offering Kalshi event contracts, allowing users to engage in prediction trading around events such as sports outcomes and Fed interest rate decisions. In addition, Robinhood has also collaborated with ForecastEx under Interactive Brokers and Rothera, a joint venture with Susquehanna International Group.

Crypto.com, on the other hand, launched its independent prediction market platform OG in February this year and has been offering prediction market contracts through its derivatives business since the end of 2024. By the end of 2025, Crypto.com also announced a partnership with the Trump Media & Technology Group, planning to launch prediction market services on the Truth Social platform.

With the increasing popularity of prediction markets, Kalshi has become one of the main participants in the U.S. market. It is reported that Kalshi's World Cup-related prediction market traded volume reached $27 billion, while the Super Bowl-related market traded volume was around $1 billion.

Analysts believe that the potential collaboration between Robinhood and Crypto.com will further intensify the competition in the prediction market race, with traditional brokerages, cryptocurrency exchanges, and professional prediction market platforms vying for dominance in this emerging trading arena.
