SpaceX Stock Price Plunge Could Present Opportunity, Morgan Stanley Analyst Bullish on Its AI Business Valuation

BlockBeats News, July 25th, a Morgan Stanley analyst stated that the sell-off of SpaceX stock has pushed its price to near a level that implies investors are assigning zero value to its artificial intelligence business.

Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas wrote in a report to clients on Friday, "We believe the current increasingly negative sentiment from investors is disconnected from largely stable fundamentals, creating an attractive opportunity for investors to buy SpaceX stock." Jonas noted that many investors expect that as the lockup period for the first tranche of shares expires next month, some insiders may sell shares, potentially driving SpaceX's stock price down to $100 per share.

He argued that at this level, investors are essentially assigning zero value, or even negative value, to SpaceX's artificial intelligence business. The analyst has a target price of $300 for SpaceX stock, with over 50% of the valuation coming from the company's artificial intelligence business.
