The U.S. House of Representatives Passes Resolution Again, Urging Trump to End Iran War Authorization

BlockBeats News, July 23rd. With bipartisan support from a few Republicans, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Iran War Powers Resolution for the second time, calling for Trump to cease hostilities with Iran. The roll call vote in the House that day was 214 yeas and 208 nays, with four Republican members joining Democrats in voting for the resolution.

In June this year, the U.S. House had passed a similar resolution with four Republican members also voting in favor. This action, beyond its symbolic significance, highlights the unpopularity of the Iran conflict and the increasing concerns among a few Republican lawmakers.
