Today's Fourth Security Incident: A certain PancakeSwap LP signed a malicious authorization, resulting in a loss of approximately $2.96 million

BlockBeats News, July 23rd, according to Specter monitoring, a long-dormant PancakeSwap liquidity provider (LP) suffered a loss of approximately $2.96 million due to signing a malicious EIP-7702 approval.

The attacker removed around $1.48 million BSC-USD and $1.48 million BUSD liquidity provided by the victim, swapping BUSD for ETH. Currently, the attacker has deposited about $1.46 million funds into Tornado Cash, while the remaining approximately $1.48 million USDT is still held in the attacker's address.
