VerusCoin Ethereum Bridge Hacked, Approximately $7.53 million in Assets Drained

BlockBeats News, July 23rd, according to CertiK Alert monitoring, VerusCoin's Ethereum bridge suffered a security vulnerability attack, and the attacker has transferred approximately $7.53 million in assets.

CertiK stated that the vulnerability may be related to the bridge contract failing to properly verify whether the Verus chain-side input amount matches the actual payment amount, a similar issue seen in a previous event in May.
