BlockBeats News, July 22, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey's Block officially launched the team-oriented chat collaboration platform Buzz, placing humans and AI agents in the same conversation space. Dorsey described Buzz as "model-agnostic, decentralized, self-sovereign, and fully open source." Buzz has a user interface similar to Slack but natively integrates AI agent functionality. It also integrates GitHub project management capabilities in the same window, consolidating multiple workflows into a single workspace. Being fully open source, developers can access the complete source code, build features, deploy instances, and achieve deep customization based on team-specific needs and workflows.
The current team collaboration tools are undergoing a structural shift from "human-to-human collaboration" to "human-to-AI agent hybrid operation," and Buzz is trying to capture this migration window with an open ecosystem.
