OKX Wallet has launched 'Social Login,' supporting the creation of self-hosted wallets using email and other accounts

BlockBeats News, July 21st, according to official sources, OKX Wallet has now launched "Social Login", supporting users to create a wallet in seconds via email, Apple, or Google accounts, without the need to record or backup the mnemonic phrase. Wallets created through social login remain self-hosted wallets, with the mnemonic phrase and private key generated, stored, and signed in a TEE (Trusted Execution Environment). OKX cannot access or export user private keys, ensuring users always have control of their assets and can export the private key or switch to a regular mnemonic phrase wallet at any time.

It is reported that OKX Wallet's "Social Login" adopts a unified account system, where one account can access App, browser extension, web, and Agent, automatically restoring the same wallet after login. The initial batch supports 19 chains such as X Layer and Solana, and natively supports transaction scenarios such as Swap, cross-chain, limit orders, copy trading, RWA, among others.
