AI startup CuspAI has completed a nearly $500 million financing round and announced the establishment of the AI Material Factory Alliance.

BlockBeats News, July 20th, According to Bloomberg, the production of the world's most popular advanced semiconductors requires a large amount of energy and relies on rare mineral resources. CuspAI, a UK AI startup founded just two years ago, is betting that artificial intelligence can optimize this process and has raised nearly $500 million for this purpose.

On Monday local time, CuspAI announced the establishment of the AI Materials Foundry alliance. The alliance brings together more than 48 tech giants, industrial companies, and research institutions, with members including Nvidia, Meta, and Hyundai Motor Group, among others.

The alliance aims to integrate members' computing power and research capabilities to jointly develop AI software, helping researchers to develop new materials for chip manufacturing and other industries at a lower cost and faster pace, thereby improving material research efficiency and accelerating innovation in advanced semiconductors and related industries.
