X Update: Creator Revenue Sharing Program, "Reply Deception," and Other Induced Interactions Leading to Account Suspension

BlockBeats News, July 16th, X Product Lead Nikita Bier announced that X has updated the creator revenue sharing plan. Accounts that engage in mutual interaction through actions such as "follow for follow" three times or more will be removed from the plan and referred to the policy team for evaluation to potentially suspend the account. Grok is currently able to identify such behavior, and nearly 4000 accounts were removed from the plan on the same day.

X has introduced a new model that detects duplicate content three times more efficiently than the old model. Even if a repost adds a watermark, intro, or other modifications, the related monetization exposure will still be attributed to the original uploader. This rule also applies to copying popular text posts.

Nikita Bier stated that the platform detected 1.5 million posts that were plagiarized in this cycle. Accounts engaged in repeated infringement or that deliberately evade detection will be removed from the creator revenue sharing plan. Through the above adjustments, over $1 million in revenue will be reallocated to original content creators.
