Sleepagotchi is launching a decentralized AI health app to rebuild the Web3 health economy

BlockBeats News, July 16th, Sleepagotchi is currently rebuilding the Web3 health economy by developing an AI-driven decentralized health application. The project originally started as a "sleep to earn" mobile game, where users would receive digital collectible rewards by maintaining a consistent sleep schedule. The team later expanded it into a full-fledged health app that uses AI to analyze data from smartphones and wearable devices to provide personalized health insights.


Sleepagotchi CEO Kenny Wood stated that the team found sleep to be the root cause of nearly all health and emotional issues. If a user experiences sleep problems, it can affect their mood and overall well-being. Sleepagotchi aims to combine on-device AI and a utility-focused encrypted infrastructure to provide users with personalized health recommendations without sending sensitive biometric data to corporate cloud servers or on-chain. The app employs a decentralized multi-agent system, with sleep coaches, health coaches, diet planning agents, and shopping agents processing different tasks locally on the phone and delivering real-time status data.


In terms of crypto economics, Sleepagotchi plans to use its native staking token, SLEEP, to support its future marketplace and advanced health tracking features. Users can access basic health insights and automation guidance for free, but after exhausting their daily quota, additional AI queries will require payment in SLEEP. The project also aims to monetize through advanced health tracking subscriptions, marketplace listing fees, partner staking deposits, and revenue from affiliate business brought by the shopping agent. Sleepagotchi has raised $6.5 million in funding from investors, including 6th Man Ventures, Collab+Currency, Sfermion, 1kx, Alliance, GSR, among others. Project documents indicate that it has over 2 million users and generated over $100,000 in revenue during a three-week testing period.
