Codex active users surpass 9 million, OpenAI replenishes capacity for the fourth consecutive day

According to Duptic Beating Monitor, OpenAI has announced that the combined active users of Codex and ChatGPT Work have reached 9 million. This is an increase of 1 million in approximately 33 hours since the last reported 8 million.

Over the past three days, this number has risen from 6 million to 9 million. OpenAI has also once again topped up users' weekly quotas.

The team has stated that they are working hard to maintain system stability. Previously, Sam Altman had warned that the demand for GPT-5.6 Sol is growing too rapidly and a brief outage may occur soon.
