Robin Li Wrote in People's Daily: Don't Just Compare How Many Tokens Were Burned, Look at How Much Work the Agent Did

According to the Motion Intelligence Monitor, Baidu's founder, Robin Li, published an article in the People's Daily, proposing to measure the intelligent economy using "Daily Active Agent Count" (DAAC).

DAAC tracks how many Agents complete tasks and deliver results each day. Robin Li compared Tokens to AI's "electricity bill" and DAAC to a "report card".

He criticized the industry for blindly pursuing model scale and Token consumption. AI should not only achieve high rankings in the laboratory but also enter real-world scenarios such as factories, healthcare, and logistics to create tangible value.
