The U.S. Government Transfers Seized Assets from FTX and Alameda Research, Draining the Original Wallet

BlockBeats News, July 15th, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, the U.S. government has once again transferred seized crypto assets. A government wallet previously associated with Alameda Research/FTX has been emptied and the assets have been dispersed to 8 new addresses. The transferred assets this time include:

4,110 AXS tokens (approximately $4,100)

5.37 YFI tokens (approximately $11,400)

1,230 COMP tokens (approximately $21,100)

311,600 MANA tokens (approximately $21,800)

0.533 WBTC (approximately $34,400)

4,050 NMR tokens (approximately $39,900)

138,950 RLC tokens (approximately $40,700)

209.18 ETH (approximately $391,000)

On-chain data shows that the balance of the original wallet is now zero. Just the day before, the U.S. government also transferred about $12.34 million of seized Bitfinex hack case assets, including 2.9671 million USDT to Coinbase Prime, 901,000 USDC to a new wallet, and about 5,940 ETH (approximately $11.14 million) to Coinbase Prime.

It is currently not possible to confirm whether the aforementioned asset transfers are related to a selling strategy. On-chain analytics firms will continue to track the U.S. government's seized crypto assets for further developments.
