BlockBeats News, July 15th, according to Onchain Lens monitoring, the U.S. government has once again transferred seized crypto assets. A government wallet previously associated with Alameda Research/FTX has been emptied and the assets have been dispersed to 8 new addresses. The transferred assets this time include:
4,110 AXS tokens (approximately $4,100)
5.37 YFI tokens (approximately $11,400)
1,230 COMP tokens (approximately $21,100)
311,600 MANA tokens (approximately $21,800)
0.533 WBTC (approximately $34,400)
4,050 NMR tokens (approximately $39,900)
138,950 RLC tokens (approximately $40,700)
209.18 ETH (approximately $391,000)
On-chain data shows that the balance of the original wallet is now zero. Just the day before, the U.S. government also transferred about $12.34 million of seized Bitfinex hack case assets, including 2.9671 million USDT to Coinbase Prime, 901,000 USDC to a new wallet, and about 5,940 ETH (approximately $11.14 million) to Coinbase Prime.
It is currently not possible to confirm whether the aforementioned asset transfers are related to a selling strategy. On-chain analytics firms will continue to track the U.S. government's seized crypto assets for further developments.
