NVIDIA is really going all-in on the card theme, but this time it's not a graphics card – introducing the first-ever collectible card set.

According to Omdia Beating monitoring, NVIDIA has launched its first set of "GeForce Trading Cards," a collectible card series. Series 1 includes a total of 14 designs, showcasing over 30 years of GeForce graphics cards, games, and tech demos.

The featured cards include NV1, GeForce 256, GeForce 3, 7800 GTX, GTX 1080, and the "Cyberpunk 2077" edition RTX 2080 Ti. Classic tech demos like Bubble, Chameleon, and Medusa have also been turned into cards.

This set of cards will not be publicly sold; they can only be obtained through online giveaways during the "Summer of RTX" event or by visiting specific events for free distribution. NVIDIA has already distributed them at Bilibili World in Shanghai and will be present at upcoming events like QuakeCon and gamescom.

Against the backdrop of increasingly expensive graphics cards, gamers have had mixed reactions to this card release. PC Gamer quoted a netizen jokingly saying, "Finally, a NVIDIA card I can afford."
