According to DynaBeat Monitor, the founder of MindNet, Tang Jie, released an internal memo announcing the launch of the Touch High plan. Over the next two years, the company will continue to focus on AGI research, prioritizing long-term application over short-term monetization.
The plan will focus on four key areas: enabling models to perform long-duration complex tasks; facilitating large-scale agent collaboration; achieving fully self-training through synthetic data and self-play; and enhancing security governance.
Tang Jie specifically emphasized security, stating that MindNet plans to invest billions of dollars in research on "mechanical interpretability" to understand why a model makes a particular decision. He also mentioned that even after MindNet goes public, the company will return to fundamental model research, as "not reaching the summit means failure."
Previously, MindNet announced a approximately HK$31.4 billion new stock placement. The raised funds will be used for base model development, computing power infrastructure, and commercial expansion.
