Insider Sources: Tencent in Talks to Acquire Manus, Tencent to Remain a Minority Shareholder

BlockBeats News, July 11th - Recently, there has been news that Tencent is in talks to become the largest shareholder of the general AI agent company Manus. According to the news, a consortium of Chinese investors led by Tencent is looking to repurchase all of Manus's shares from Meta at a valuation of around $2 billion.


A reporter from Southern Metropolis Daily has reached out to Tencent for confirmation, but Tencent has not responded yet. Another source familiar with the matter revealed that after this transaction, Tencent will still remain a minority shareholder but will not have a controlling stake.
