BlockBeats News, July 11th, according to EmberCN monitoring, Tether used 15% of its quarterly profit to allocate to a Bitcoin reserve address, and about 5 hours ago, it test-transferred 4 BTC to Binance, worth approximately $250,000.
EmberCN stated that previously, this address had transferred 204.3 BTC to Bitfinex a month ago, valued at around $14.36 million when the price of Bitcoin was around $70,000. It is currently uncertain whether the related assets have been sold.
In addition, Tether appears to have not yet completed the on-chain withdrawal of additional Bitcoin for the second quarter of 2026. As per past practice, Tether usually transfers the BTC purchased during each quarter to the reserve address on the last day of the quarter. However, as of the end of the second quarter, more than ten days have passed, and no new Bitcoin transfers to the reserve address have been observed on-chain, raising market concerns about whether it is adjusting its Bitcoin accumulation pace.
