BNB Chain is developing a next-generation L1 network

BlockBeats News, July 8th, BNB Chain is developing a brand new Layer1 network, aiming to reduce transaction latency to below 50 milliseconds and achieve a processing capacity of 100,000 transactions per second (TPS). It will suppress MEV behaviors such as sandwich attacks by eliminating the public mempool (adopting the TxStream mechanism). The new chain will also reserve block space for oracles, settlement, and cross-chain bridges through PriorityLane. The network is scheduled to launch its testnet in 2026 to further enhance on-chain performance and scalability.
