Du Jun Strikes Back at Li Bojie: Both Entrepreneurship and Job Seeking Require Recognizing One's Proper Position; No One Will Foot the Bill for Your Halo

According to the Beating Monitoring Report, in response to Li Bojie's accusation of insufficient funds received for investment, Du Jun, Co-founder of ABCDE Capital, once again published a clarification. Du Jun stated that the agreed upon $1.5 million was always meant to be an initial payment of $500,000, with subsequent disbursements depending on the project's progress. However, the Metagent team not only lagged behind schedule, but also failed to provide financial statements to investors for a lengthy 10 months. Li Bojie has been unresponsive to inquiries since July 2024 and has since gone missing after deactivating his Telegram account.

Du Jun emphasized that his publication was not a form of safeguarding rights, but rather a belief that everyone should play their current role well: being accountable to investors during entrepreneurship and respecting interview rules when job hunting, without expecting others to bear the burden of their past achievements and reputation.
