Serenity: Google's Computing Power Cap Explanation or Meta's Large-Scale AI Neocloud Signing, Bullish for AI Data Center Capital Expenditure

BlockBeats News, June 28th, Serenity's post indicated that Google reportedly restricted Meta's computing capacity in March 2026 due to a shortage of computing power, which may explain why Meta at the time signed a large-scale cooperation agreement with AI Neocloud service providers (such as NBIS), while also leading to certain limitations on the Gemini model's capabilities.

Serenity pointed out that earlier, Google's CEO stated during an earnings call that the shortage of computing power limited Google Cloud from taking on more customer demands, with the backlog of related orders almost doubling compared to the previous quarter.

Serenity believes that this situation further illustrates that the computing power supply of hyperscalers is still far below market demand, and they are unable to complement each other's resources. In the long run, this will continue to support the logic of AI data center construction and capital expenditure expansion.
