Alibaba Launches Qianwen Input Method Official Website and Releases macOS Version

According to Jingdata Beating monitoring, the Thousand Questions Input Method, a team under Alibaba, has officially launched the Thousand Questions Input Method website and opened the macOS standalone client download to users. The input method is operated by Alibaba's wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Zhixin Microcredit Technology Co., Ltd., marking another strategic move by a tech giant in the independent AI input method field following WeChat Input Method and Douyin Input Method. Currently, the iOS, Android, and Windows versions are all in the final stages of preparation for release.

Official sources indicate that the Thousand Questions Input Method is focused on intelligent voice input, with a recognition speed of up to 300 characters per minute. The input method incorporates AI automatic polishing function, supports mixed Chinese and English input, 9 dialect inputs, and promises an ad-free user experience.

Analysis of the installation package files reveals that the Thousand Questions Input Method macOS client (version 1.0.0.13, built on the evening of June 26) is developed based on the Rime input method framework and includes input schemes such as Double Pinyin. In terms of architecture design, the input method integrates specialized voice and AI startup bridge components (such as libqianwen_voice_backend_contract.dylib) to support the local and cloud-based collaborative processing of voice signals.
