SK Hynix's South Korean Stock Rises 5.5% After Hours

On the news front, SK Hynix plans to raise up to 45 trillion Korean Won (approximately $29 billion) through issuing American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) in New York, with the related transactions set to commence in July. If successful, this fundraising size will surpass Alibaba's $25 billion IPO in 2014, making it one of the largest overseas equity fundraising projects in South Korean corporate history and approaching a historical record in the global capital markets.
