BlockBeats News, June 23, According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, on the 23rd, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei stated at the weekly press conference held in Tehran that Iran will decide how to use its unfrozen assets entirely based on national interests and will not be subject to any restrictions.
Earlier, some media speculated that based on the agreement between Iran and the United States, Iran's use of unfrozen funds might be restricted, possibly limited to purchasing specific goods, including American food.
Baghaei refuted this by saying, "There are no restrictions in this regard," and regarding the purchase of goods, "Iran's Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant agencies will make decisions based on price and quality." Baghaei also stated that the U.S. issued sales licenses for Iranian crude oil, petrochemicals, oil products, and related services took effect on the 22nd, and the same principle applies to the unfrozen Iranian assets. "Iran's previously frozen assets are now fully available and can be freely used according to its own priorities."
