U.S. Intelligence: Iran Still Capable of Closing the Strait of Hormuz

BlockBeats News, June 17th, a U.S. intelligence assessment shows that Iran, after demonstrating its capabilities during the conflict, still has the potential to close the Strait of Hormuz again. Despite expectations of an agreement to reopen the strait, Tehran retains the ability to deploy missiles, drones, speedboats, and sea mines, which could disrupt global energy shipments.

Intelligence officials indicate that Iran has gained leverage over this crucial trade route and may use regional energy infrastructure as a pressure tactic.
