The Volcano Engine launches the Seedance 2.0 Mini Video Generation Model, with a cost of approximately $0.5 per second for content generation.

According to Sensor Tower data, on June 16, the Volcano Engine's Volcano Ark Experience Center launched the Seedance 2.0 mini video generation model and plans to launch API services in the near future. As a cost-effective version, this model is mainly aimed at large-scale video production scenarios requiring high concurrency, high throughput, such as e-commerce content generation, short films, and batch production of marketing materials.

Seedance is a series of video generation models developed by ByteDance's Seed team. Official data shows that Seedance 2.0 mini, while ensuring output quality, has doubled the generation speed compared to the Fast version of the same series, and the generation cost is about 50% lower than the Seedance 2.0 standard version. Based on the 720P specification, the generation cost per second is approximately 0.5 yuan.

In terms of pricing, the Seedance 2.0 mini image-to-video pricing is 0.023 yuan per thousand tokens, and the video-to-video pricing is 0.014 yuan per thousand tokens. This version aims to reduce the trial and production barriers in high-frequency video generation scenarios.
