According to Dynamic Insight monitoring, in order to promote the newly released flagship model Claude Fable 5, Anthropic has reset all user quotas directly and plans to hold a developer event to attract new users. This quota reset includes lifting the 5-hour rolling restriction and weekly usage cap for all users in the Claude Code terminal tool.
Anthropic will also host Build Day, a developer event in San Francisco on June 13, offering a total of $150,000 in API consumption credits as a bonus to encourage developers to build applications on-site. The application deadline is June 12.
At the API development level, the official SDK has also integrated an automatic degradation feature. When Fable 5 triggers security rules and denies a response, the system will automatically retry the request and seamlessly switch to the legacy model, Claude Opus 4.8, to prevent direct API errors and crashes on the client side.
