「Once-in-a-Lifetime」 IPO: SpaceX to IPO with Trillion-Dollar Themes of Space Launch, Satellite Internet, and AI

BlockBeats News, June 7, Futurum Equities Chief Market Strategist Shay Boloor stated in a recent analysis that next week's SpaceX IPO will be "one of the most important public market events in a trader's lifetime." SpaceX is not just a rocket company, but should be defined as a super infrastructure platform that encapsulates the three trillion-dollar themes of space launch, communication connectivity, and AI — SpaceX is currently scheduled to debut on June 12 under the ticker symbol SPCX, with a target valuation of $1.75 trillion and a maximum fundraising of $750 billion, making it one of the largest IPOs in history.

Shay Boloor stated, "If you want to hold the category leader in the space sector for the next decade, this is SpaceX. Although the current valuation based on an annualized revenue of about $20 billion is ridiculously expensive, the forward-looking logic is very strong: Starlink is the largest valuation pillar, with expected revenue of $11.4 billion in 2025, a 50% year-over-year increase, operating profit of $4 billion, 10.3 million subscription users doubling year-over-year, already covering households, aviation, maritime, and direct mobile phone scenarios, and is a clear high-margin compounding revenue engine; Starship is the strategic ace, with reusability dramatically reducing costs and opening up new markets.

SpaceX also disclosed its three major business segments in the S-1 filing: the Space/Launch segment is expected to generate $4.1 billion in revenue in 2025, completing 170 launches throughout the year accounting for the majority of global orbital payload; the AI/xAI segment is expected to generate $3.2 billion in revenue but operate at a loss of $6.4 billion in 2025, which is the biggest point of contention — however, 75% of Q1 capital expenditures were allocated to AI (approximately $7.5 billion), and Anthropic signed a $45 billion deal, almost single-handedly transforming xAI from a money-burning machine into an AI infrastructure business with real contract demands. Shay concluded by stating that SpaceX's short-term valuation is already very aggressive, but the long-term bull case is strong, making it suitable as a core holding.

Currently, on the trade.xyz Pre-IPO platform, SpaceX (SPCX) has had a trading volume of $12.4 million in the past 24 hours, with reported holdings of $59.11 million, representing a 24-hour growth of approximately 39%. The price is currently at $172.83, corresponding to an implied valuation of $2.05 trillion. When SPCX started trading, the price was $135, and based on fully diluted shares outstanding, the initial reference market value was $1.75 trillion.
