Digging Deeper into Trump's May Posts: Focused on City Planning Rather Than Crime, AI Generated Images Make Up the Third Largest Category

BlockBeats News, June 7th, U.S. media Politico conducted a manual classification analysis of all 800+ posts and retweets on Trump's May Truth Social, and found that the most frequently mentioned topic by Trump was the reshaping of the Republican Party — endorsements related to "Trump's GOP," victory celebrations, and attacks on internal party opponents taking the top spot. Following closely behind was the extensive beautification transformation of Washington, mentioned up to 80 times, surpassing election integrity (29 times), immigration (11 times), and posts related to urban crime. On May 20th, Trump wrote: "Washington is being awakened to show its beauty, elegance, and charm... The most grand will be the National Mall Reflecting Pool — 2500 feet long, nearly 200 feet wide, the largest of its kind in history." The Iran war remained a high-frequency topic (68 times), but the focus of the posts was repeatedly emphasizing ensuring Iran does not obtain nuclear weapons and reaching a "good deal."

In addition, image and symbol posts made up the third largest category, including AI-generated composite images of Trump's face carved onto Mount Rushmore and a striking AI image of Trump walking side by side with a muscle-bound alien in Nevada's Area 51. Complaints and corruption allegations against political opponents appeared 55 times, Democratic Party attacks 32 times, and economic and livelihood issues only 22 times. A White House spokesperson responded that Truth Social is an important way for the president to "directly and truthfully communicate with the American people and the world." Trump's post peak occurred between 10 and 11 p.m., with over 78 posts in a single month.
