According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, OpenAI's web-based ChatGPT has launched a direct email feature. Users can now complete the entire process from drafting to sending directly within a standalone writing interface, without having to switch to an external email client or perform manual copy-pasting.
Previously, ChatGPT could assist users in drafting email content, but users still had to copy the text and log in to external clients such as Gmail or Outlook to send the email. The sending process has now been seamlessly integrated into the writing interface. Users only need to connect their email accounts in the web settings and can effortlessly send their drafts to recipients with a single click within the Writing Blocks.
The email direct send feature bridges the gap between content generation and instant distribution, aiming to reduce the context-switching costs in workflows. The initial set of features has been gradually rolled out to ChatGPT web users.
