Israel and Lebanon have agreed to implement a ceasefire, but Hezbollah did not participate in the negotiations.

BlockBeats News, June 4th. According to The Washington Post, under the mediation of the United States, Israel and Lebanon agreed on Wednesday local time to implement a ceasefire agreement to end months of border conflict. However, Hezbollah, a key player in the conflict and backed by Iran, did not participate in the negotiations held at the U.S. State Department and did not immediately respond to the agreement.

Since the two sides reached a preliminary ceasefire agreement in April this year, exchanges of fire have continued between Israel and Hezbollah. Analysts believe that with Hezbollah's absence, there remains significant uncertainty about whether this ceasefire agreement can be truly implemented.

Prior to this, the U.S. government announced that Israel and Lebanon had agreed to implement a ceasefire arrangement to ease regional tensions.
