WeChat Teams Up with Mobile Phone Manufacturers to Launch A2A Assistant Feature: Breaking the Barrier Between Apps and Operating Systems, Supporting System AI to Directly Send WeChat Messages and Make Audio and Video Calls

According to NetAbstraction Beating monitoring, WeChat is deeply collaborating with multiple mainstream smartphone manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi, Honor, OPPO, vivo, to launch assistant capabilities based on the A2A (Agent-to-Agent) collaboration mechanism.

Tencent Customer Service has confirmed this, stating that this feature allows the system AI assistant of the smartphone manufacturer to directly send instructions to WeChat, which is responsible for execution and result return. Some smartphone manufacturers have already completed the integration.

The core functionality includes initiating voice and video calls with designated friends, sending WeChat messages, etc., through the system voice assistant. Specific functionalities will be gradually improved based on the adaptation status of each manufacturer.
