「HYPE Spot Market Whale」 Further Dumps $20.35 Million, Single-Handedly Upholding Three-Day TWAP Buying Pressure

BlockBeats News, June 3rd, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, yesterday morning, the "HYPE Spot Main Trader" once again made a large-scale TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) purchase of HYPE spot on the Hyperliquid platform, with a total investment reaching $20.35 million (calculated at $72 per coin for a complete fill). The whale spread the accumulation across 10 addresses and plans to continue buying over the next 24 hours as follows:

- Yesterday evening: The total amount of TWAP orders that were not completely filled reached a purchase of 111,500 coins (valued at approximately $8.02 million);

- This morning: 5 additional orders were placed, currently in the early stages of execution, planning to buy 171,000 coins (valued at approximately $12.32 million).

According to incomplete statistics, the whale has accumulated over 551,200 HYPE coins in the past three days, worth over $40 million. Each round of purchases almost single-handedly contributed to the vast majority of the TWAP buy-side volume, nearly single-handedly maintaining the TWAP net buying trend of HYPE over the past three days.

Funds Origin: The source of funds for the above addresses can all be traced back to the on-chain address 0xb5E4. This address was previously monitored and suspected to be related to the largest external entity of HYPE, a16z, where it frequently aggregated HYPE spot from various major exchanges and other liquidity sources at the end of May.

Since 2026, the related address has accumulated a total of 5.93 million HYPE coins (valued at approximately $427 million at the current price), some of which have been transferred to the Hyperliquid platform in the past week.
