「Largest Liquidation on the Entire Network」: BTC Long Position Worth $61.9 Million Gets Liquidated, Accounting for Nearly 10% of the Total BTC Liquidations

BlockBeats News, June 3rd, according to Hyperinsight Monitoring, in the past 24 hours, the total amount of BTC liquidation across the network reached $729 million, with long liquidation accounting for about $681 million. Approximately 9.1% of the long liquidations came from the same whale on Hyperliquid, which is also the largest liquidation address across the network.

During last night's initial BTC decline, this whale's BTC long positions were liquidated twice in a row, with a total of 508.2 BTC liquidated (valued at about $34.4 million), resulting in a loss of approximately $2.75 million.

Subsequently, using the remaining funds, it repositioned during a slight BTC rebound to $68,000. However, as BTC declined again and fell below $67,000, the long position was liquidated after four rounds of liquidation, with a total of 411.2 BTC liquidated (valued at about $27.5 million). The combined size of the two liquidation rounds reached $61.9 million, with a total loss of approximately $3.14 million.
